About Our School

Our History

The Montessori School of Madison was founded in 2008 by its current director, Ruhi Hiebert. We are an individually paced preschool and early elementary school. The Montessori School of Madison respects the imagination, mind and heart of each child and we want each child to reach their potential. Our students amaze us every day in what they accomplish in the classroom, on the playground, and at home.

We at Montessori School of Madison educate the whole child, academically, socially and emotionally. We want to encourage children to be productive citizens of tomorrow.

Our Campus

We are located on the grounds of Grace Presbyterian Church. Inside, we have four classrooms and a community area that we use for various events. On campus are two different playgrounds that are shaded at different times of the day. We also have a school garden where we grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers. The children help us plant and maintain the garden.
